The client specializes in organic vegetables and fruits for premium supermarkets. Their previous PE film was not compostable, conflicting with the brand’s environmental values. After switching to our PLA compostable heat seal film, the packaging can biodegrade under industrial composting conditions and is EN 13432 certified, aligning with the brand’s sustainability positioning. The film’s anti-fog property reduced condensation, keeping produce fresh longer. After launch, the eco-friendly feature helped increase sales by about 12%.
