Wire Rope Marker Tape for Wire Rope Marking and Traceability 2.5mm to 6.0mm Custom Printing
This Wire Rope Marker Tape is designed for marking and traceability management of wire ropes. It uses high-strength PET or polyamide film as the base material, with abrasion-resistant information printed via gravure or flexographic printing. It is wound around a support element in spirally overlapping manner and worked into the gap between strands at the same twisting angle. It can be printed with manufacturer, specification, date, batch number, and service life, meeting the marking requirements of ISO 2408:2017. The product resists abrasion, grease, and chemicals, and stays legible at 100°C normal operating temperature and short-term 250°C. Custom printing is supported, with regular sizes in stock.

Tensile properties are tested per ISO 527-3:2018. Tear strength follows ISO 6383-1:2015 trouser method. Peel adhesion uses ISO 29862:2024 Method 1. Static shear adhesion follows ISO 29863:2018 Method A. ISO 4593:1993 applies only to unprinted base film thickness; finished total thickness is measured by cross-section microscopy. The marking content requirements of ISO 2408:2017 are fully met.
